Our gift store has a growing list of Gourmet Edibles created in our Simply Fine Foods Kitchen or by other small scale food producers in B.C.

Some of the food products that we currently carry are herb chocolate, tomatillo relish, hummus, garlic nectar (best seller), pesto, amazing mustards, scented geranium jellies and of course, lots of organically produced teas and culinary herbs.

We also carry products that follow the principles of "Fair Trade" through women's cooperatives in four different countries:

• Hand bags from Cambodia - made from "uzu" grass. A village craft that provides the women with 3 times their usual wage as well as meals.

• Brooms, dustpans and whisks from Thailand - beautifully handcrafted from local grasses.

• African Bulga baskets - made from Elephant grass (Africa). 3 days work in each basket - colorful and very utilitarian.

• Vietnamese seagrass baskets - The "Ford truck" of baskets.

Other products are 'kitchen stuff" such as lotions and soaps from Rustic Soap Co. and garden decor. The best choice in organic food for your herbs and veggies - Gaia green (BC product) and Raingrow - it even smells like mint!
