Our next event & last one for this year is as follows:

CHRISTMAS TREE HARVEST
Saturday, December 10, 10 am - 4 pm.

This is a fundraiser for the Agassiz Volunteer Fire Dept. They protect our homes and property all year by volunteering their time both to train and to attend a variety of emergencies in our community. Bring the family & come out and show your support for them and assist in our efforts to raise funds towards the purchase of a new truck. Members will be on hand to assist you in cutting a Christmas tree for your home or business. Lunch and refreshments will also be available. 50% of all proceeds will go to the Local Fire Dept.

SLOW FOOD CYCLE TOUR
Saturday, July 21, 9 am - 5 pm.

Register online at slowfood.com? Register at the Agassiz Leisure Centre. Pick up a map, hop on your bike and cycle along the rural roads of Agassiz. Visit a variety of farms and connect with the folks who produce your food! This event is all about taking the time to learn about food production and the flavor of local, in season produce. It is also about the pleasure of eating real, fresh food! Note: Only cash accepted.

EDIBLE VANCOUVER GARLIC FESTIVAL
At Limbert Mountain Farm
Saturday, Aug. 18, 10 am - 5 pm.

This is our 6th annual Garlic Festival and our 3rd Festival in partnership with Edible Vancouver. This event celebrates everything Garlic and Local Food! A variety of vendors will provide garlic for eating as well as for seed, garlic food products, and other local food & beverages. Sample local cuisine and enjoy music in the wine tent overlooking the gardens. Note: Only cash accepted. Please leave pets at home.
